Pastor Keith I Pelzer

Pastor Keith Pelzer was raised in Southern Baptist Church of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Under the pastorate of the late Reverend Isaiah Pelzer Jr., he accepted Christ at the age of 21 in 1992. Pastor Pelzer was called to the Ministry when he demonstrated evidence of God’s call and was licensed to preach the Gospel in 2005 at Southern Baptist Church. On July 26th 2009, Pastor Pelzer was ordained under the council of the Pennsylvania Eastern Keystone Baptist Association.
Pastor Pelzer is the Husband of one wife Tina Pelzer and together they are the parents of Isaiah and Caleb. Before Pastor Pelzer became Pastor of Southern Baptist Church, he served many years as the Minister of Music. Pastor Pelzer’s father bought a family piano, believing God that one of his children would be his minister of music, it was then that Pastor Keith Pelzer discovered that God had given him the gift of ministry through music. Pastor Pelzer has served in many capacities at various churches in Music Ministry, and was recently named “Minister of Music,” for the Pennsylvania Eastern Keystone Baptist Association.
Pastor Pelzer knows that God used his career as a tool for ministry. In addition to his music ministry in the church, Pastor Pelzer is a Grammy Nominated, Multi-platinum selling Producer who has worked with some notable names in the industry.
Pastor Pelzer is a capable and, dedicated young man who has a burden for souls. His basic concern is to be an example of the believer who continues to “Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14), in bringing the lost to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In obedience to the Holy Spirit he evangelizes through preaching and music as well as witnessing. He is ever ready to be used of the Lord.
First Lady Tina Pelzer
Washington, DC native, Tina Pelzer is the wife of Pastor Keith I. Pelzer and they are the proud parents of two sons, Isaiah and Caleb. Together they are the leaders of Southern Baptist Church located in Philadelphia, PA. As a lifelong careered stylist, “Tina” is a co-owner of Bold and Beautiful Salon in Downingtown, PA. She a Youth Development and Program Coordinator for Living Strong Consulting LLC. Tina is also Creator and CEO of her non-profit organization FAVOR (Faces And Voices Of Reason) an etiquette, self-esteem building and goal setting Life Skills program implemented in schools, local workforce development organizations and churches. She is the leader of the women’s ministry at her church, where she hosts a quarterly “Women’s Night of Healing Service” and is very active in the community and abroad.
Tina takes pride in fostering the growth of others. As a volunteer coordinator/manager for the Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation for the last 10 years, she recruits trains and manages interested volunteers with the hope of adding value to their lives. This service is so dear to her because it creates opportunity for others to learn and grow.
Coming from a very nontraditional upbringing she was determined not to become a product of her circumstances. Throughout her journey she has overcome several obstacles and helped many along the way. She is known among her peers as “The Rescuer” because she always reaches out to help those in need especially women and girls. Tina’s love for Christ and the proven difference He made in her life, is what drives her passion to lead people to Him. She is always on a mission to help one live their lives according to Gods word through love.
As an inspiring leader, motivational speaker, teacher, entrepreneur, mother and friend she devotes her life to serving god through serving others and leads by being a follower of Christ.
